Setup guide
Purple Player on your Android phone, step by step
Short version: install Purple Player, sign in with your Ultra 8K IPTV details, and let it load. The steps below cover the parts specific to the Android phone, from where to find the app to the settings that keep 4K feeds smooth.
- No contract
- 7-day refund
- Login in ~60s

Purple Player is a paid app; its activation fee goes to the developer, separately from your IPTV plan. Resolution depends on the screen: HD is plenty on a phone or laptop, and 4K is worth it only on a 4K monitor or TV. Ordering happens on WhatsApp, and the login usually lands in the chat within about 60 seconds.
Prep, in four lines
- Purple Player's MAC address and device key, which it shows on its start screen
- Enough free space for the app and its guide data
- A 25 Mbps line handles one 4K stream comfortably; HD needs roughly 10 Mbps per screen
The setup, in order
- Choose a plan on the pricing page and order on WhatsApp; your server URL, username and password arrive in about 60 seconds.
- Install Purple Player from Google Play on your Android phone.
- Open Purple Player on the TV and write down the MAC address and device key it shows on the start screen.
- On the Purple Player website, enter that MAC and device key, add your playlist (M3U link or Xtream details), then restart the app on the TV.
- Give the first sync a couple of minutes, then hide the groups you never use and favorite the rest.
Tune it for the Android phone
- Cast or mirror to a TV when friends come over.
- Lock rotation to landscape so the picture doesn't flip when you shift on the couch.
- Stay on Wi-Fi for long sessions: HD uses roughly 3 GB an hour, 4K far more.
- Playlist name: give it a clear name on the website so you can tell playlists apart.
What you'll see on first launch
After you add the playlist online and restart Purple Player, the TV shows your playlist name and starts loading channels. The first load on TV hardware can take a couple of minutes; after that, live TV, movies and series open from the home screen.
If Purple Player won't cooperate
- Playlist missing after you added it online: confirm the MAC on the website matches the one on screen, then restart Purple Player.
- Purple Player closes on its own: clear its cache, restart the Android phone, and reinstall if it keeps happening.
- Picture but no sound: set the Android phone's audio output to stereo or PCM; some soundbars refuse surround passthrough from IPTV feeds.
- Buffering on sports only: run a speed test on the Android phone. Below about 25 Mbps, use the HD version of the channel.
