Setup guide
Get King 4K Player running on your TiVo Stream 4K
King 4K Player runs on Android TV, which makes it a natural fit for the TiVo Stream 4K. Setup is install, sign in, wait for the list: about five minutes from start to your first channel with an Ultra 8K IPTV login.
- No contract
- 7-day refund
- Login in ~60s

King 4K Player is a paid app; its fee goes to the developer, separately from your IPTV plan. 4K is no problem for the TiVo Stream 4K; give it a 25 Mbps connection and a 4K TV and the sharper feeds hold up. Choose a plan, message us on WhatsApp, and expect your login details in about a minute.
Prep, in four lines
- Your login from WhatsApp: server URL (with port), username and password
- Unknown apps allowed for Downloader, only if Google Play does not list the app
- Budget 10 Mbps per HD screen and 25 Mbps per 4K screen, then add headroom for everyone else online
- A faster way to type: a USB or Bluetooth keyboard, or the remote app on your phone
Installing King 4K Player
- Pick a plan length, send the order on WhatsApp, and keep the reply open: it holds the server URL, username and password.
- Open Google Play on the TiVo Stream 4K and install King 4K Player. If it's missing from the store, sideload it with Downloader after allowing unknown apps under Settings > Apps > Security & restrictions.
- Choose the Xtream Codes login in King 4K Player and enter the server URL (including http:// and the port), the username and the password exactly as sent.
- Give the first sync a couple of minutes, then hide the groups you never use and favorite the rest.
The first time you open it
King 4K Player shows a loading bar while it pulls the channel list, then opens on its home screen. Live TV, movies and series appear as separate sections, and the guide fills in over the next minute or two. On the TiVo Stream 4K, the first load is the slowest.
Troubleshooting
- "Invalid credentials": retype the server URL with http:// and the port, and check capital letters; the username and password are case-sensitive.
- King 4K Player closes on its own: clear its cache, restart the TiVo Stream 4K, and reinstall if it keeps happening.
- Buffering on sports only: run a speed test on the TiVo Stream 4K. Below about 25 Mbps, use the HD version of the channel.
- Channels but no guide: refresh the EPG in King 4K Player's settings, or give it a few minutes after the first sign-in.
Settings that help on the TiVo Stream 4K
- Clear the player's cache from the system app settings if the guide starts lagging.
- Close apps you are not using; sticks have limited memory.
- An Ethernet adapter is the biggest single upgrade for a stick on weak Wi-Fi.
- Favorites: build a list so the first screen shows the channels you actually use.
