Buying TiviMate Premium

TiviMate Premium is bought through TiviMate Companion, a separate app from the same developer that installs on an Android phone or tablet. You create an account in Companion, choose a yearly or lifetime purchase, then sign in to that account inside TiviMate on the TV device to unlock Premium.

Companion is an Android app, so iPhones can’t run it. Without an Android phone, people usually borrow one for the few minutes the purchase takes; once the account exists, everything else happens on the TV device.

What Premium adds

  • Free: one playlist, live channels and the TV guide.
  • Premium: several playlists, catch-up, recording, favorites management, reminders and a customizable channel list.
  • Devices: one Premium account covers several devices, within the developer’s limit.
  • Renewal: the yearly option renews through Google Play and can be cancelled in its Subscriptions screen; lifetime doesn’t renew.

How to do it

  • Install TiviMate Companion. Get TiviMate Companion from Google Play on an Android phone or tablet.
  • Create an account. Open Companion and register with your email address.
  • Choose a plan. Pick the yearly or lifetime Premium option and complete the payment.
  • Sign in on the TV. In TiviMate on the TV device, open the Premium or account settings and sign in with the same account.
  • Restart TiviMate. Close and reopen the app so the Premium features unlock.
