Watch MTV Live live on your TV, phone or laptop
Watching MTV Live live takes an Ultra 8K IPTV plan, a player app and a steady internet line. The channel is part of the plan; nothing in the lineup is sold channel by channel.
- No contract
- 7-day refund
- Login in ~60s
A music channel from the Paramount family, MTV Live is the place for music videos, award shows and concert specials. Activation runs over WhatsApp: order, pay, and the credentials follow in around 60 seconds. There's no contract and no card on file waiting to be charged again: plans are prepaid, with a 7-day refund window.
MTV Live: the essentials
- Where to find it: the Music group in your channel list
- Network family: Paramount
- Picture: HD as standard, 4K on feeds where the broadcaster supplies it
- Guide: now-and-next listings from an EPG that covers about 99% of channels
- Catch-up: up to 7 days back where the channel supports it
- Price: part of every plan, from $10.42/month on the yearly option
Up and running in about five minutes
Order first: the WhatsApp message with your login comes back in roughly 60 seconds. Next, install a player on the screen you watch most. Then type in the server URL, username and password exactly as sent. The list loads in a minute or two, and MTV Live is a search away.
MTV Live viewing tips
- Award-show nights pull big audiences, so open the channel before the broadcast starts.
- Run the TV audio through a soundbar or receiver; music channels are where better sound pays off.
- Music video blocks make good background TV for a party; favorites keep them one click away.
- If two versions of the channel are listed, test both once and favorite the steadier one.
Finding MTV Live in your player
Once you sign in, the player sorts channels into groups. MTV Live sits under Music; typing the first few letters into search gets you there faster than scrolling. The guide row shows what's on now and what's next, and a long press on the channel (or the menu button, depending on the app) adds it to favorites.
Next to MTV Live in the guide
If MTV Live is on your list, MTV Hits, MTV2, BET, and BET Jams probably belong there too. Every Ultra 8K IPTV plan carries them at no extra cost.
If MTV Live won't play
- Spinning wheel, then nothing: switch to another channel and back. If others play and MTV Live doesn't, refresh the playlist from the player settings.
- Wrong program in the guide: check the device's time zone, then the EPG offset setting in the player.
- Sound but no picture: switch the player's decoder between hardware and software in its settings.
