Music

Think of MTV Hits as a music channel from the Paramount family: music videos, award shows and concert specials. Activation runs over WhatsApp: order, pay, and the credentials follow in around 60 seconds. If it doesn't suit you, the 7-day money-back guarantee applies, and because plans are prepaid there's nothing to cancel later.

Quick facts: MTV Hits

  • Where to find it: the Music group in your channel list
  • Network family: Paramount
  • Picture: HD as standard, 4K on feeds where the broadcaster supplies it
  • Guide: now-and-next listings from an EPG that covers about 99% of channels
  • Catch-up: up to 7 days back where the channel supports it
  • Price: part of every plan, from $10.42/month on the yearly option

Getting MTV Hits on your TV

Order first: the WhatsApp message with your login comes back in roughly 60 seconds. Next, install a player on the screen you watch most. Then type in the server URL, username and password exactly as sent. The list loads in a minute or two, and MTV Hits is a search away.

Tips for watching MTV Hits

  • Run the TV audio through a soundbar or receiver; music channels are where better sound pays off.
  • Music video blocks make good background TV for a party; favorites keep them one click away.
  • The on-demand library adds full concert films and music documentaries.
  • If two versions of the channel are listed, test both once and favorite the steadier one.

What you'll see on screen

Your player opens on a channel list split by category. Open Music and MTV Hits is in there, or use search. Highlight it and the guide fills in the current show, its end time and the next program. Add it to favorites once and it stays at the top of your list from then on.

More in Music

Same login, same group: Fuse, CMT Music, BET Her, and MTV. Nothing in the Ultra 8K IPTV lineup is sold separately, so add whichever you like to favorites.

Quick fixes for common problems

  • Wrong program in the guide: check the device's time zone, then the EPG offset setting in the player.
  • Sound but no picture: switch the player's decoder between hardware and software in its settings.
  • Plays for a minute, then freezes: run a speed test on the TV itself. Under about 25 Mbps, choose the HD version of the channel instead of 4K.

FAQ

Questions people ask us

Not covered here? Send it on WhatsApp and a person on the support desk will answer, any hour of the day.

Is MTV Hits included in every Ultra 8K IPTV plan?

Yes. All 4 plans carry MTV Hits along with the rest of the 35,000+ channels. Nothing is priced channel by channel, so there's no add-on to buy.

Can I restart a show on MTV Hits that already began?

On channels that support catch-up, yes: open the guide, go back to the program and play it from the start. Catch-up reaches up to 7 days back.

Does MTV Hits show up in the TV guide?

The lineup's EPG covers about 99% of channels, so MTV Hits normally shows the current program, its end time and what's next. If listings look off, check the time zone on your device.

What internet speed does MTV Hits need?

A 25 Mbps line handles one 4K stream comfortably; HD needs roughly 10 Mbps per screen. Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi keeps the picture steady when the rest of the house is online.

Can I watch MTV Hits on a TV without a cable box?

Yes. Any device that runs an IPTV player will do: Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV boxes, Apple TV, smart TVs from Samsung and LG, phones and computers. Roku is the odd one out because it can't install Android apps, so Roku owners usually mirror from a phone or add a streaming stick.
