Getting IBOSS Player ready for live TV
IBOSS Player is a player, not a provider: think of it as the TV guide and remote, with Ultra 8K IPTV supplying the channels. It runs on Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, and Android.
- No contract
- 7-day refund
- Login in ~60s

Sign-in type: MAC address activation, with the playlist added on the developer website. Activation runs over WhatsApp: order, pay, and the credentials follow in around 60 seconds. You pay once for the plan length you choose; nothing renews on its own, and you have 7 days to ask for a refund.
Signing in to IBOSS Player
IBOSS Player doesn't ask for a username on the TV. Open it and it shows a MAC address, often with a device key. Go to the IBOSS Player website, enter that MAC, and add your playlist there, either as an M3U link or as Xtream details.
Restart IBOSS Player on the TV and the playlist appears. The app's own activation fee is paid to its developer, separately from your IPTV plan.
Quick facts
- Cost: paid; the developer charges for activation, separate from your IPTV plan
- Runs on: Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android, and Amazon Fire OS
- Login type: MAC address activation, with the playlist added on the developer website
- Guide: reads XMLTV/EPG data from the provider
- Good match for: Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick 4K
- Known for: a paid player for Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, and Android that activates by MAC address
Settings worth changing
- Playlist name: give it a clear name on the website so you can tell playlists apart.
- Restart IBOSS Player after any change on the website; the TV app only reloads on start.
- Parental lock: set a PIN and lock adult categories before the kids find the remote.
- Hide groups: remove countries and categories you never watch to speed up scrolling.

If IBOSS Player isn't for you
iMPlayer is paid, runs on 6 platforms and uses an Xtream login. QVIPTV is paid, runs on 2 platforms and activates by MAC. IBOSS Player, by comparison, is paid and covers 4 platforms. Many people keep two players installed and use whichever suits the evening.
