The setup, in order

- Open the Sports group and add FOX and Fox Sports 1 to favorites.
- Play one of those channels for a few minutes well before kickoff to confirm the picture is steady.

MacBook settings for soccer

- Run a speed test on the MacBook. Under 25 Mbps, stick with HD for MLS.
- Pause other downloads and video calls in the house during the broadcast.
Tips for MLS day
- Overseas leagues kick off in the morning or early afternoon US time while MLS mostly plays at night; catch-up covers the matches you miss.
- Wide shots of the full field reward a sharp feed, so use 4K only if your line clears 25 Mbps.
- Big matches often have English and Spanish broadcasts on different channels; pick the commentary you prefer.
- Stoppage time runs past the guide slot, so don't switch away at the 90th minute.
