What's inside

Films picked for younger viewers. The selection changes over time as titles come and go.

When to reach for it

Use it for the half hour before dinner or the car ride to grandma's. With the rest of the library locked, kids can browse here without wandering off. On Ultra 8K IPTV, it shares one login with the live channels, so switching between them is a tap in the menu.

Picture, sound and controls

  • Audience: titles picked for younger viewers
  • Controls: a parental PIN keeps the rest of the library locked
  • Resolution: HD as standard, 4K on select titles
  • Devices: phones and tablets for car trips, the TV at home

Getting to it fast

Open Movies or Series, then the category list. Kids Movies has its own category in most players; if yours sorts differently, search for a title you know.

Quick checks first

  • Set the parental PIN and lock adult categories before the first session
  • Plan on about 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K titles
  • Turn on subtitles from the player menu if the title has them
  • Restart the player if a title stalls at the start; it usually clears in seconds

Viewing tips

  • Streams need a connection, so on a road trip plan around Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot.
  • Set a parental PIN and lock adult categories before handing over the remote.
  • Build a kids favorites list so they never browse the full library.

When you want something live

When you'd rather have something on a schedule, the kids & family channel group is on the same login. A year costs $125, about $10.42 a month; a single month is $24.99.
