Setup guide
Get MAC Media Player running on your Chromebook
Short version: install MAC Media Player, sign in with your Ultra 8K IPTV details, and let it load. The steps below cover the parts specific to the Chromebook, from where to find the app to the settings that keep 4K feeds smooth.
- No contract
- 7-day refund
- Login in ~60s

MAC Media Player is a paid app; its fee goes to the developer, separately from your IPTV plan. Resolution depends on the screen: HD is plenty on a phone or laptop, and 4K is worth it only on a 4K monitor or TV. Choose a plan, message us on WhatsApp, and expect your login details in about a minute.
Prep, in four lines
- The MAC address MAC Media Player shows in its settings, to send with your order
- Enough free space for the app and its guide data
- Plan on about 10 Mbps for each HD stream and 25 Mbps for each 4K stream
Step by step: MAC Media Player on the Chromebook
- Choose a plan on the pricing page and order on WhatsApp; your server URL, username and password arrive in about 60 seconds.
- Open the Play Store on the Chromebook and install MAC Media Player; it runs as an Android app in its own window.
- Find the MAC address in MAC Media Player's profile settings and send it to us on WhatsApp so it can be registered.
- Paste the portal URL we reply with into MAC Media Player's portal settings and restart the app.
- Wait for the first load to finish, open a channel to test it, and star the ones you watch most.
The first time you open it
MAC Media Player loads the portal on start. Expect a menu with live TV, video on demand and settings tiles, much like a MAG box. The channel list arrives first, the guide shortly after.
Tune it for the Chromebook
- Keep VLC installed as a backup player for testing the stream.
- Turn on hardware acceleration in the player settings.
- Connect to a TV over HDMI for a bigger picture with the same app.
- Portal URL: leave it exactly as sent, including any trailing /c/.
If MAC Media Player won't cooperate
- "Portal not found" or a blank screen: check the URL, including any trailing /c/, and confirm the MAC was registered.
- Buffering on sports only: run a speed test on the Chromebook. Below about 25 Mbps, use the HD version of the channel.
- Guide off by an hour or more: check the Chromebook's time zone first, then the EPG offset in MAC Media Player.
- Picture but no sound: set the Chromebook's audio output to stereo or PCM; some soundbars refuse surround passthrough from IPTV feeds.
