Step by step: Kodi on the Xbox One

  • Buffering on sports only: run a speed test on the Xbox One. Below about 25 Mbps, use the HD version of the channel.
  • Channels but no guide: refresh the EPG in Kodi's settings, or give it a few minutes after the first sign-in.
  • Picture but no sound: set the Xbox One's audio output to stereo or PCM; some soundbars refuse surround passthrough from IPTV feeds.
