Setup guide
Setting up IBOXX Player on the Samsung Smart TV
Short version: install IBOXX Player, sign in with your Ultra 8K IPTV details, and let it load. The steps below cover the parts specific to the Samsung Smart TV, from where to find the app to the settings that keep 4K feeds smooth.
- No contract
- 7-day refund
- Login in ~60s

IBOXX Player is a paid app; its activation fee goes to the developer, separately from your IPTV plan. Whether it plays 4K depends on the model, so check the spec sheet before choosing 4K feeds. There's no contract and no card on file waiting to be charged again: plans are prepaid, with a 7-day refund window.
Before you start
- IBOXX Player's MAC address and device key, which it shows on its start screen
- Samsung TV software updated under Settings > Support > Software Update
- Plan on about 10 Mbps for each HD stream and 25 Mbps for each 4K stream
- A faster way to type: a USB keyboard plugged into the TV, since the on-screen one is slow
The setup, in order
- Pick a plan length, send the order on WhatsApp, and keep the reply open: it holds the server URL, username and password.
- Press Home on the Samsung remote, open Apps, search for IBOXX Player and choose Install.
- Open IBOXX Player on the TV and write down the MAC address and device key it shows on the start screen.
- On the IBOXX Player website, enter that MAC and device key, add your playlist (M3U link or Xtream details), then restart the app on the TV.
- Give the first sync a couple of minutes, then hide the groups you never use and favorite the rest.
The first time you open it
After you add the playlist online and restart IBOXX Player, the TV shows your playlist name and starts loading channels. The first load on TV hardware can take a couple of minutes; after that, live TV, movies and series open from the home screen.
Common problems and fixes
- Playlist missing after you added it online: confirm the MAC on the website matches the one on screen, then restart IBOXX Player.
- Picture but no sound: set the Samsung Smart TV's audio output to stereo or PCM; some soundbars refuse surround passthrough from IPTV feeds.
- IBOXX Player closes on its own: clear its cache, restart the Samsung Smart TV, and reinstall if it keeps happening.
- Channels but no guide: refresh the EPG in IBOXX Player's settings, or give it a few minutes after the first sign-in.
Small tweaks, smoother playback
- Install TV software updates; the app store serves builds matched to your firmware.
- Switch the picture mode to Standard or Sports for live games; Vivid looks harsh on compressed feeds.
- Use the TV's Ethernet port when the router is close.
- Playlist name: give it a clear name on the website so you can tell playlists apart.
