Setup guide
Bob Player on your Fire TV Stick, step by step
Bob Player runs on Amazon Fire OS, which makes it a natural fit for the Fire TV Stick. Setup is install, sign in, wait for the list: about five minutes from start to your first channel with an Ultra 8K IPTV login.
- No contract
- 7-day refund
- Login in ~60s

Bob Player is a paid app; its activation fee goes to the developer, separately from your IPTV plan. Expect Full HD, not 4K: the Fire TV Stick tops out at 1080p, which still looks clean on most TVs. Ordering happens on WhatsApp, and the login usually lands in the chat within about 60 seconds.
Before you start
- Bob Player's MAC address and device key, which it shows on its start screen
- Developer options visible on the Fire TV (About > select the device name seven times)
- A 25 Mbps line handles one 4K stream comfortably; HD needs roughly 10 Mbps per screen
- A faster way to type: the Fire TV app on your phone has a keyboard
The setup, in order
- Order on WhatsApp from the buy page. Your login details come back in the same chat, usually within a minute.
- On the Fire TV Stick, open Settings > My Fire TV > About and select the device name seven times. Developer options appears in the menu; you need it only if Bob Player has to come through Downloader.
- Look for Bob Player in the Amazon Appstore first. No listing? Open Downloader, type the developer's official download address, install the file, and let Downloader delete the leftover APK to save space.
- Open Bob Player on the TV and write down the MAC address and device key it shows on the start screen.
- On the Bob Player website, enter that MAC and device key, add your playlist (M3U link or Xtream details), then restart the app on the TV.
- Give the first sync a couple of minutes, then hide the groups you never use and favorite the rest.
What you'll see on first launch
After you add the playlist online and restart Bob Player, the TV shows your playlist name and starts loading channels. The first load on TV hardware can take a couple of minutes; after that, live TV, movies and series open from the home screen.
Common problems and fixes
- Playlist missing after you added it online: confirm the MAC on the website matches the one on screen, then restart Bob Player.
- Bob Player closes on its own: clear its cache, restart the Fire TV Stick, and reinstall if it keeps happening.
- Channels but no guide: refresh the EPG in Bob Player's settings, or give it a few minutes after the first sign-in.
- Guide off by an hour or more: check the Fire TV Stick's time zone first, then the EPG offset in Bob Player.
Small tweaks, smoother playback
- An Ethernet adapter is the biggest single upgrade for a stick on weak Wi-Fi.
- Use the HDMI extender that came in the box if the port is cramped; it helps Wi-Fi reception and heat.
- Clear the player's cache from the system app settings if the guide starts lagging.
- Playlist name: give it a clear name on the website so you can tell playlists apart.
