Outside the big metros, connection types vary more. Fiber and cable are fine for 4K, while DSL and fixed wireless are usually better suited to HD. Test the speed on the TV itself first. There's no contract and no card on file waiting to be charged again: plans are prepaid, with a 7-day refund window.

A quick pre-check

  • Decide which TV gets the main player and whether a stick or the built-in apps make more sense.
  • Run a speed test on the TV or stick itself, in the evening, when your area is busiest.
  • Note how many screens will play at once, since that sets the connection count you need.
  • Check that the device clock is on Eastern time so the guide lines up.

Getting set up in Huntington

Activation runs over WhatsApp: order, pay, and the credentials follow in around 60 seconds. Install a player on the TV you use most: TiviMate on a Fire TV or Android TV, IPTV Smarters Pro on Apple TV, or an app such as IBO Player on Samsung and LG TVs. Sign in, and the channel list loads in a minute or two.

Teams and channels for Huntington fans

West Virginia Mountaineers are the West Virginia teams with viewing guides, and each page lists the channels that carry their games. National broadcasts are in the lineup, and regional sports networks sit in their own group.

Speed and screens

  • One HD stream: about 10 Mbps
  • One 4K stream: about 25 Mbps
  • Two or three TVs: add each stream together, plus headroom for phones and laptops
  • Wi-Fi: 5 GHz near the TV, or Ethernet
  • Up to 3 screens can play at once on one plan; on the 12-month length, two screens cost $200 in total instead of $125

Eastern time and your guide

Guide times follow your device, not the broadcaster. In Huntington, that means Eastern time. When a game listed for 8 p.m. shows at the wrong hour, the device time zone is the first thing to check, and the player's EPG offset setting is the second.
