In New Braunfels's mix of houses and apartments, distance is the common issue: the router at one end, the TV at the other. A mesh node or powerline adapter fixes it. Plans are prepaid and never auto-renew, and you have 7 days to ask for your money back.

From order to first channel

Activation runs over WhatsApp: order, pay, and the credentials follow in around 60 seconds. Install a player on the TV you use most: TiviMate on a Fire TV or Android TV, IPTV Smarters Pro on Apple TV, or an app such as IBO Player on Samsung and LG TVs. Sign in, and the channel list loads in a minute or two.

Speed and screens

  • One HD stream: about 10 Mbps
  • One 4K stream: about 25 Mbps
  • Two or three TVs: add each stream together, plus headroom for phones and laptops
  • Wi-Fi: 5 GHz near the TV, or Ethernet
  • A plan plays on one screen at a time as standard, and one order can cover up to 3 screens at once

New Braunfels game nights

Houston Texans, Houston Rockets, Austin FC, San Antonio Spurs, and Texas A&M Aggies are the Texas teams with viewing guides, and each page lists the channels that carry their games. National broadcasts are in the lineup, and regional sports networks sit in their own group.

Getting the TV guide right

Set the device to Central time and the guide lines up with what's on air in New Braunfels. Catch-up helps with the rest: anything that aired earlier in another time zone, up to 7 days back on supported channels, can be played from the start.

Three things to check first

  • Decide which TV gets the main player and whether a stick or the built-in apps make more sense.
  • Run a speed test on the TV or stick itself, in the evening, when your area is busiest.
  • Check that the device clock is on Central time so the guide lines up.
  • Keep the 7-day money-back guarantee in mind: test on every TV you plan to use during the first week.
