Live TV in California without a cable contract

Cable, fiber, DSL, fixed wireless and satellite internet all work, as long as the speed holds up. Fiber and cable lines clear the 25 Mbps needed for one 4K stream with room to spare; older DSL may be limited to HD. Satellite works too, though high-latency plans can take a few extra seconds to start a channel.

Anaheim Ducks, Golden State Valkyries, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, San Diego FC, and Los Angeles Chargers and 20 more have team pages with the channels that carry their games. National broadcasts are in the lineup, and regional sports networks sit in their own group; fans who leave California keep the same channel list wherever they sign in.

Nothing about the service is fixed to your ZIP code. An Ultra 8K IPTV login works at a vacation rental, a relative's house or a dorm room as well as it does at home; just keep the number of streams playing at once within your plan.

Set the device to Pacific time and the guide lines up with what's on air in California. Catch-up helps with the rest: anything that aired earlier in another time zone, up to 7 days back on supported channels, can be played from the start.

Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, Fresno, and Sacramento and 83 more California cities have their own pages, with local teams and setup notes. One month costs $24.99; the 12-month plan is $125, which works out to $10.42 a month.
