Entertainment

Think of Quest as an entertainment channel from the Tegna family: reality, comedy and scripted shows, the programming that fills most cable evenings. Send your order on WhatsApp and the connection details for your device come back in roughly 60 seconds. If it doesn't suit you, the 7-day money-back guarantee applies, and because plans are prepaid there's nothing to cancel later.

Quest: the essentials

  • Where to find it: the Entertainment group in your channel list
  • Network family: Tegna
  • Picture: HD as standard, 4K on feeds where the broadcaster supplies it
  • Guide: now-and-next listings from an EPG that covers about 99% of channels
  • Catch-up: up to 7 days back where the channel supports it
  • Price: part of every plan, from $10.42/month on the yearly option

Getting more out of Quest

  • Catch-up makes appointment TV optional: start the episode from the guide later that night.
  • Weekend marathons are common, and the guide shows how long a block runs.
  • Favorite the handful of entertainment channels you actually watch and hide the rest of the group.
  • Restart the player after a long session if the guide stops scrolling smoothly.

What you'll see on screen

Expect a grid: categories down the left, channels in the middle, guide data on the right. Quest lives in the Entertainment category. Pin it to favorites and it appears on the first screen every time you open the app, ahead of the thousands of channels you'll never need to scroll past.

Up and running in about five minutes

Pick a plan on the pricing page and order on WhatsApp; the login arrives in about 60 seconds. Install a player such as TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro (on Samsung and LG TVs, an app like IBO Player). Enter the server URL, username and password, and Quest shows up with the rest of the Entertainment group.

More in Entertainment

Same login, same group: BBC America, Start TV, MeTV, and Comet TV. Nothing in the Ultra 8K IPTV lineup is sold separately, so add whichever you like to favorites.

Quick fixes for common problems

  • Wrong program in the guide: check the device's time zone, then the EPG offset setting in the player.
  • Sound but no picture: switch the player's decoder between hardware and software in its settings.
  • "Authorization failed": re-enter the login exactly as sent, including http:// and the port in the server URL.

FAQ

Questions people ask us

Not covered here? Send it on WhatsApp and a person on the support desk will answer, any hour of the day.

Is Quest included in every Ultra 8K IPTV plan?

Yes. All 4 plans carry Quest along with the rest of the 35,000+ channels. Nothing is priced channel by channel, so there's no add-on to buy.

Can I restart a show on Quest that already began?

On channels that support catch-up, yes: open the guide, go back to the program and play it from the start. Catch-up reaches up to 7 days back.

Can I watch Quest on a TV without a cable box?

Yes. Any device that runs an IPTV player will do: Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV boxes, Apple TV, smart TVs from Samsung and LG, phones and computers. Roku is the odd one out because it can't install Android apps, so Roku owners usually mirror from a phone or add a streaming stick.

What internet speed does Quest need?

A 25 Mbps line handles one 4K stream comfortably; HD needs roughly 10 Mbps per screen. Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi keeps the picture steady when the rest of the house is online.

Can I watch Quest on my phone away from home?

Yes. Install the same player on your phone and sign in with the same details. Up to 3 screens can play at once on one plan; on the 12-month length, two screens cost $200 in total instead of $125.
